Water Charities Draw WEFTEC Attendees to Polls

To highlight the importance of clean water for all, Duperon will be hosting a "voting booth" throughout the three days of WEFTEC 2016. Visitors at booth 1013 will be able to register to vote for one of two water-focused charities. At the conclusion of WEFTEC on September 28, each charity will receive a portion of a $1K donation based on the percentage of votes received.
The charity candidates are:
charity:water, a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations with freshwater wells, rainwater catchments, and sand filters.
Water for People, an organization that exists to promote the development of high quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.
The vote ties in to the polling theme Duperon plans to promote at the show itself, a nod to the upcoming American presidential election. The Duperon "platform" of the Right People, the Right Products, and the Right Process is driven by its day-to-day principles of business, which focus on a company-wide commitment that "you'll like working with us." Duperon's running platform also ties closely to the vote, which is designed to support the common purpose that drives the thousands of water professionals that attend the show each year.
"While we're all at WEFTEC to be with our customers and promote our own products, we wanted to support the mission inherent in the work we do," said Tammy Bernier, CEO of Duperon Corporation.
"Both Water for People and charity:water share values and a mission that aligns very closely with what we do at Duperon. There's nothing our team likes better than making a difference in water. We wanted to share that, and also have a little fun with our visitors in the voting process," Bernier shared.
Please join us in booth 1013 to explore Duperon's platform and cast your vote for one of our charity candidates. Whatever nominee you support will be the Right Choice… because when clean water and sanitation are made available to all, everyone wins!
