Duperon Corporation Acknowledged for Economic Excellence in Saginaw County

Saginaw, MI – On Friday, February 15, 2013, Terry Duperon will accept an award on behalf of Duperon Corporation for the company’s outstanding economic contribution to Saginaw County in 2012 during Saginaw Future’s Annual Awards Luncheon at Horizons Conference Center.

Duperon Corporation is among thirty-five companies and economic development projects to be honored at the Luncheon.

Duperon, Chairman of the Board of Duperon Corporation, founded the preliminary liquids/solids separation technologies manufacturer more than 25 years ago from a spare bedroom in his home. The company, which is growing at a rate of approximately 25% per year, now employs more than 50 people from Saginaw and the surrounding areas, including Owosso, Reese, Standish and Rochester Hills. In 2012, Duperon Corporation relocated its office and manufacturing operations to 1200 Leon Scott Court following a $1M investment in renovations and construction at the previously-vacant property.

Saginaw Future seeks to increase economic opportunity in Saginaw County to ensure long-term growth and prosperity by fostering development, primarily in advanced manufacturing, medical technology, renewable energy, hi-tech industries, and professional services.
