Sarah Courtright, who heads Market Development for Duperon Corporation, has expanded upon her work within the water and wastewater industry with her recent appointment to the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Board Global Committee for the 2014/2015 term and her acceptance to the 2015 WEF Water Leadership Institute.

Ms. Courtright is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where she studied International Business and Marketing, and is actively involved with roles in several industry organizations in addition to her recent appointment, including: WEF Vice Chair of the Future & Global Issues Symposium; Co-Chair of the WEF Students & Young Professionals Waterpalooza; member of the WEF Program Steering Committee; member of WEF Students & Young Professionals; and supporter of Water for People.

The WEF Board Global Committee seeks to expand the outreach of WEF to water professionals throughout the world, while enriching the experiences and expertise of the same. "I am honored to be involved in the WEF Board Global Committee," said Ms. Courtright. "I am working with the very best and brightest in our industry to magnify WEF's value globally. The opportunity to participate in this committee speaks to my passion for worldwide sustainable water solutions, and facilitates the ability to share the knowledge of many on an international scale."

The WEF Water Leadership Institute is an exclusive program which educates, trains, and provides opportunities for the development of industry leaders - all while examining the complex issues those in the water and wastewater industries currently face - to preserve and enhance water resources for current and future generations.

"I love collecting new data that I can use to impact what's most important to me - whether it is in the water industry on a local or national level, or even in my own community," said Ms. Courtright. "The WEF Water Leadership Institute is an incredible opportunity, and I am looking forward to working with a team of people who are committed to the cause of sustainability, and to using our gathered knowledge for the possibility of solutions to problems our industry has struggled against. It's a chance to really impact future generations," she concluded.

Duperon is the leader in preliminary liquids/solids separation technologies and provides simple solutions for coarse screening, fine screening, low flow screening, perforated screening, washing compacting, and conveying. Duperon technologies are designed and manufactured in Saginaw, Michigan.
