Duperon Corporation is an international force in waterflow management industries. Privately owned, it manufactures patented, mechanically cleaned barscreens and a varied line of complementary products. An agile company operating in North America and internationally, their patented products effectively manage wastewater, storm water, raw water intakes, beautification and barriers for fish, manatees, and other aquatic life.

Duperon was established in 1985 as a manufacturer of pumps, expanding its product line to include the patented Self-Cleaning Trashrack (1979) and the FlexRake (1995). In subsequent years, complementary product lines such as controls, conveyors, and compactors were developed in response to customer needs. Duperon Corporation continues to pride itself on the simple mechanical design of each product, as well as the solutions developed individually for customers.

In 1993, Tammy Bernier joined her father, Terry Duperon, as a partner. Their unique combination of skills has proven to work well for the aggressive growth strategy they have adopted. Terry Duperon has a strong background in machine/tool and is the inventor of both the Self-Cleaning Trashrack and the FlexRake. Tammy Bernier has more than twenty years of management experience, as well as expertise in establishing company systems to assure maximum efficiency and reliability. In 2010, Terry assumed the position of Chairman of the Board, with Tammy moving into the role of President/CEO.

Several years ago, Terry and Tammy sat down and identified a vision for the company… a dynamic, down-to-earth organization providing extraordinary service, centered on the core value of “you’ll like working with us”. This clearly articulated concept assures that the pair—along with a team of nearly 30 employees—would constantly look to their customers to measure performance. They succeed. We succeed. It is as simple, and as challenging, as that.
